Cryhton Kingdom (cry-tun)

The kingdom of Cryhton, fractured and mended several times over. This most recent iteration bespeaks of peace within, and war outside. Indeed, their neighbor Hezhish Councilnori, has overtaken much of their rich eastern regions, annexing it for themselves. Response has been slow, and people are beginning to revolt and take matters into their own hands.

Mythology & Lore

Cryhtonians believe that Kord and Moradin cooperated in creating their country. In the beginning Moradin has an idea for the most perfect place and Kord wanted input. Moradin agreed and so they set out crafting the land together. Kord wished for the land by the sea to be full of hills and dells to catch the rain of his most powerful storms. Moradin wished to create the most beautiful forest to showcase his unique animals. Together they created the lands now known as Cryhton.

Divine Origins

The beliefs are a mishmash and simplification of generic creation myths over the ages. The ideas were first purposed by the people of the Syrosyrus Hills who worship Kord. The forest-dwellers of the east and south revered Moradin as chief deity. When they came together and united is when these ideas fused, for it was easier to control and unify the people who shared the same faith.
