Funza
Funza is the Goddess of Waters, worshipped in Ustolia by largely coastal and Island populations. She is also strongly associated with birth, twins, and malformations in children, and is commonly prayed to during pregnancy and birth.
She is the mother of Bazza and Gazza , two children fathered by Rutar and born with impurities preventing them from achieving true godhood. They were simple minded, joyful twins who were adored by their mother.
For hundreds of years, the happy family ruled over the Water Plane until a mortal sorcerer named Uunabat pilfers and perverts the body of the Water Titan to create a wicked plague that he then unleashes upon the Water plane. This event ends many lives, and in a dark moment - Rutar uses corrupt magic to transform Funza's children into monsters - enourmous Kraken without joy or feeling, locked into an endless bloodlust and set by their father to guard either side of the Water Titan's body, the site of the only remaining portal between the Material Plane and the Water Plane. Funza, furious at the loss of her children, abandoned the Water Plane and her union to Rutar. Since then, she has lived through an Avatar on the world of Ustolia.
