Chapter 1

The adventurers discover and attempt to dismantle a shadowy organisation of powerful hags spread throughout Dunsland. While they all have their own reasons for fighting the coven, they are soon dragged into corruption, intrigue and hidden threats, unsure of who else to trust.

    Ferdinand Woyzeck, Remembers Jorgen, Ritz M'Finkle and the caravan they were helping guard as contracted by the Wayfarer's Guild are captured by orcish slavers. They manage to escape the camp by ambushing their captors as they return from another raid.

    The Spider Barrows

    Han "Dax" and Mantor, looking for a task to build a name for themselves, are sent to investigate missing persons from the hamlet of Dotting. A set of barrows a few hours outside the village are found to be infested with half-tamed spiders. The hag, Sister Meggett, reveals herself on their way out and they barely escape with their lives.

    On the way back to civilisation after their previous capture, the caravan stops in an open space of heathland. A strange construction of bright white stone stood apart from anything else. The adventurers explored it, hoping to use the additional elevation to navigate back to the main road.

    An Escape and a Hillfort

    After leaving the barrows and avoiding Dotting, Han and Mantor travelled east to skirt around the villages and hamlets on the way back to Teris. They were forced to shelter in an abandoned dwarven hillfort where they fought dark spirits and met the ghost of an old commander.

    Investigations in Teris
    Miscellaneous

    Grouped together due to owning rooms in the Rat's Barding, Jorgen, Mantor, Ritz and Woyzeck hear reports of a spate of burglaries throughout Teris. The group investigate these thefts and some arson attacks that occurred the same night. They meet Oxford, a young man who was involved in these crimes and deal with Shipley - a wererat with a lair in the Teris sewers. They put a stop to his ambitions of setting up a thieves' guild and he is remanded into custody.

    Return to Dotting

    With Mantor wanted by the guard for the violence that occured in Dotting, the adventuring party decide it's time to act and remove the hag, Sister Meggett, from the hamlet. They leave a defiant agent in Teris as a decoy for Mantor and set off with haste to Dotting. Both Gumdrop and Sister Meggett are slain and a couple of new allies are met. Konstantin, a mercenary warrior with a troubled past, aids them on the return journey with both martial prowess and magical ability.

    The Sanctum of Yeyvalla
    Discovery, Exploration

    To obfuscate the party's interest in hunting down the Coven of Covens, they decide to complete an "ordinary" adventure. They purchase a map detailing the location of an ancient and lost elven shrine and locate it to the northeast of Teris just outside the border of Dunsland. It is found to be underground - a casualty of the Calamity - and riddled with kobolds who seemed to have exchanged their draconic patron with something more horrible from the depths. A ghost is freed of her unfinished business, the altar is revealed and some treasures are found.

    Heading East

    The party travels east from Teris, taking a contract on their way to legitimise their movements. They spend time at the hunting camp within the God's Hope Woods and slay some troublesome ogres. A couple of days later, they reach Holden.

    Holden, Devyton and Sister Amalia

    The party investigate the quarantine in Holden, the curfew in Devyton and the plagues in both. They discover a hag, Sister Amalia, masquerading as an animal healer. In reality, she is spreading disease throughout the region. The party slay her, resolving to spend the resulting downtime preparing to strike out against the Coven of Covens further.

    Into Argentis' Mines

    After a hiatus to give Jorgen time to aid the sick and infirm after the plague, the adventuring party travel to Argentis to seek answers about why much-needed aid went missing. When they arrive, they are instead pulled into an ongoing disaster within the silver mines.

    They are tasked by the duke to enter the mines and find out why all work has stopped. Inside, a demonic incursion has taken root and the mercenary company in charge of security are largely compromised. After clearing the mine, the adventurers seek out the upper management once more. They find a hag, Auntie Serah, and slay her (and her fiendish allies) within her home.
