Ferdinand Woyzeck, Remembers Jorgen, Ritz M'Finkle and the caravan they were helping guard as contracted by the Wayfarer's Guild are captured by orcish slavers. They manage to escape the camp by ambushing their captors as they return from another raid.

Escorting a caravan through the God’s Hope Woods in central Dunsland for the Wayfarer Guild, Jorgen, Ritz and Woyzeck were beset by goblins and orcs. The caravan was taken hostage by the overwhelming numbers but there were few casualties due to the quick decision to surrender rather than fight back. They then joined forces with Tessa, a fresh-faced cleric of Thirasmus, and Fenn, the leader of the caravan, to rescue the civilians and escape.

They aided the goblin and orc cooking duo Greck and Mug, giving them a chance to escape their servitude.

They learned that the orc sorcerer Khomtar, who led the camp, was working to capture slaves at the behest of some force in The Deeps. Khomtar escaped with his life after a burst of wild magic swept him away.

In the final battle to escape, Fenn revealed his ability to take on bestial traits while angry - something he did not seem completely comfortable sharing with the civilians.
