Azaloth hails as the single heir to House Fleur, and carries himself as such, devoting himself to upholding the honour of the House; and more importantly his patron, Naberios, who each member of his family has sworn undying tribute and servitude to.

Personal history
Azaloth’s childhood was never particularly normal, per se, but it wasn’t always quite as crazy as it turned out to be later on. Azaloth was born to Lord Genevieve de Fleur and Jacques de Fleur as Alphonse de Fleur. As the heir to a noble family, Azaloth was trained and taught many things before his mother finally decided what his path in life would be. He studied musical pursuits, literature, art, etiquette, and just about everything else you could think a nobleman might want to know. It was at the early age of 10 that his capacity for combat was discovered (the same time he started hearing the whispers), and at that moment his path was finally decided. Naberios, his demonic patron, bestowed the name "Azaloth" upon him in place of his birth name. His studies shifted to a combat focus; strategy and tactics, combat magic, and physical combat (although he wasn’t really great at this so his focus was shifted purely magical early on). His demeanor also started to shift at this time, for several reasons. His mother had finally decided his path and as such was much harder on him as far as learning quickly and being better was concerned, with harsh punishments for any perceived shortcoming. As a result of this, and the voices he began hearing in his mind, he became much quieter, and more withdrawn, preferring to keep to himself rather than risk further punishment. Rather than making him more blindly obedient, this just served to make Azaloth more calculating, waiting for the right opportunity before he acts.

Captain Muffinpaws:
Muffinpaws is Azaloth’s closest companion and his favorite person overall. For most of his life, he hasn’t really had any friends aside from Muffinpaws, but that’s largely been ok with him, he’s never felt like he’s needed anyone else. He tends to get a little protective of Muffinpaws, and those who are rude to him or insult him are very rarely on Azaloth’s good side. In spite of this, he tries his best to make sure Muffinpaws isn’t too rude to anyone else, either, and tries to teach him to be polite and considerate to people as a rule.
Château:
Chateau was once a close friend in his childhood, but they have since drifted apart and are little other than acquaintances. Despite being technically betrothed, Azaloth has little interest in her and has no plans to see that marriage through.
Wyrd:
Despite their slightly rocky start, Azaloth now considers Wyrd a trusted companion and friend, and wouldn’t hesitate to come to their aid if it was asked of him.
Millie:
Obviously quite familiar with some of the more demonic-oriented dealings of her family, Azaloth is a little bit wary of her intentions sometimes, but sees her as otherwise fine enough. He appreciates a fellow lover of desserts, but he’s a little bit socially awkward so he doesn’t approach her about anything that they have in common
Catrina:
Azaloth doesn’t have much of an opinion towards Catrina other than mild annoyance. She has not done much to slight him or Muffinpaws in particular, so for the most part he leaves her be.
Adonis:
The first friend he made at the academy, and also the first mentor he’s had that he’s ever seen in a positive light, Azaloth is pretty attached to Adonis. Although he’s not great at showing it, he’s very grateful for his continued kindness and for making him feel comfortable at the academy. He also very much enjoys all of his stories. Later on in the development of their relationship, Alighieri has taken a somewhat fatherly role in Azaloth's life.
Cyrille:
He has a generally positive opinion of Cyrille, and feels they generally do things out of good intent, if nothing else. He feels a little bit bad about Muffinpaws’ outbursts towards them, and believes they meant no offence in any case they have offended muffinpaws.
Nikola:
Gay panic. Intense gay panic. He understands exactly none of his feelings towards him, and has no idea what attraction is but what he does know is that Nikola's presence makes him intensely nervous. He is very interested in getting to know him more regardless. After getting to know him and dating him for a while now, Azaloth has fallen very hard for Nikola, and while he still doesn't really understand relationships fully he is willing to explore the idea for eternity with Nikola.
Jacques de Fleur:
Azaloth doesn’t have a very good opinion of his father, and often looks down on him, believing he is pathetic and spineless. (Which is largely true) this is one of the ways he and his mother are a lot more similar than he’d like to admit, the thing they both dislike about him the most is his unwillingness to assert himself, and his complete lack of ambition or drive.
Geneviève de Fleur
Azaloth has a complicated relationship with his mother, he has much more respect for her than he does his father, but dislikes her even more. He believes she’s grown complacent with the house and its stature, and that he could run things better. She also tries to exert her control over his life in any way she can, including his ambitions and romantic life. It’s for those reasons that he sees her as little more than an obstacle to be removed, and an antagonist in his personal story. They are a lot more alike than he would readily admit, even to himself, in many ways.
