Personal history
Vael Dwo was the second son of house Dwo and younger brother of Lord Vitus Dwo. Not much is known about Vael's childhood other than the fact that he was childhood friends with Aphrodite von Leclair and Darius Liir.Professors Alighieri and Liir described Vael in his childhood as a timid boy and a nervous wreck.
Professor Liir also describes that in Vael's young adulthood, he grew to be "charming" and had a "heart of gold". He supposedly traveled with a group of adventurers. One day while exploring some ruins in a cave, Vael came upon a magical dagger, and his adventuring team mysteriously disappeared.
Lord Hian Amascient tells the party that Vael (and later Dyatlov) found Hian and his adventuring team not long after wiping his last one. Vael unsuccessfully attempted to kill Hian and the new party, but Hian was unsuccessful in killing him. This resulted in Vael's escape and the formation of the Crimson Circle.

Vael wants nothing more than godhood and bloodshed to put it simply. He believes himself to be a god on earth. He is selfish, vindictive, and only seeks his own benefit.
