33. Feed Me

The round room has three doors. The east and south doors are standard looking stone doors. The one to the west is a wooden door that has a mouth and two tentacles. The mouth is inarticulately mumbling.
The door is a mimic and it speaks common. It has come to learn that it will get more food if it works with those that travel through the palace rather then by attacking them. For those who speak common, the door will begin to mutter about being hungry. If any of the party engage with it, the door will directly request food. If they feed the mimic, it will let them pass. Otherwise, they will need to fight it to get past it.   Door Mimic
  • Award 5900xp for getting past the mimic whether they fed it or fought it.

Getting past the mimic will earn them one point with the Eladrin. Keep track of the party's score as they go along. At the completion of each challenge, their score will be announced by the ringing of a bell for each point they have earned.
