Sphere: Envoy
The body of The Pulvis is vast, enough that entire nations and cultures have risen and fallen on its back through the eons.
Most of the surface is covered in a patchwork of baking deserts and arid tundra, cooled by freezing fissures in the world's skin. The deserts have a tendency to hold onto the souls of those who perish there and are stalked by ghosts, both benign and malign.
Each fissure is claimed by a dynasty of Dragons who keep Earth Elementors as slaves and inhabit a thin habitable ring between desert and tundra. Most fissures have not changed hands for millennia.
