With Maferath weakened and resting after the Great Convergence Cidon, the leader of the Forces of Creation called a meeting together on the mountain on Minoth to discuss how to defeat Maferath and the Balor.

And as the Forces saw that Maferath had rested from his labors of evil, behold Cidon, the foremost of the Forces and steward of Unorrea as dictated by Solun, felt much sorrow for having departed from the children of Solun. And as he had seen that they had survived the wrath of their dark and evil adversary, Cidon desired to again help the mortals break from their bonds.

  On the mountain top of the great mountain Minoth, the Forces of Creation gathered together each and every one of them at Cidon's behest, and there they discussed Maferath and the Balor and what could be done to protect the mortals. With so many of Solun's children having been massacred by Maferath and his armies, the Forces of Creation felt it necessary to defend them somehow. While the armies of Maferath were no match for even a single one of the Forces of Creation, they also knew there was only twelve of them and the Forces could not be everywhere at once. They needed help, so Cidon proposed to the other Forces of Creation the creation of the Avatars, where each of them would choose one mortal to be their representative and be imbued with their powers. They would be demi-gods, and a match for the Balor. The other Forces wholeheartedly supported this plan.
