Personal history
My name is Feloren Saltanith. I am a 5'2" Triton with long dark green hair with redish-purpleish hair. I have a trim physic that I have worked hard for throughout the years. My skin is a beautiful ocean blue with deep green eyes. I won't tell you my age, because ladies don't do that.
I was born at home to loving parents Lilacien and Keros. They lived a simple life with 4 other children when I was born. Both followed the Duridic practices after being forced to flee from their home town. Sadly both passed away through a bizarre twist of events involving pixies of all creatures. I was just one month old when they died. My eldest brother Aeces is 30 years older than me and wasn't in a good place, I guess, when my parents died, which is why my sisters and I did not live with him.
He is an artisan now and likes to dable in music. His health is kinda shaky, which he somehow blames on me. He kinda blames everything bad in his life on me for whatever reason. I don't really talk to him much because it always ends in a fight.
Rilletten is the oldest of all us girls. She is doing pretty good in all aspects of her life. She is a little bit of a nerd, always running around with a book, going on grand (so she says) adventures seeking knowledge everywhere. She likes to share random facts and stories all the time, its kinda cute. I have yet to figure out where she gets her money from for all of these trips though. Either way, she is a great friend and super sweet. The next sister is Pamuyan. How she is alive still I will never know. She is a crazy smart wizard who has experimented too much on herself with all kinds of potions and spells. I think that is what is keeping her alive, but it's also what got her so sick in the first place. She is my favorite sister for sure, she is always there for me.
Masikan has been missing since I was 5 years old. We were best of friends, just 4 years apart in age, until she disappeared. Or at least I thought she had disappeared. Turns out that she has major anger issues and may or may not have burned down city hall...somehow...underwater...no one will tell me what actually happened, but to stop her from going to prison she joined a crew on a big ship. That ship actually disappeared, so I guess she is still missing to me. Some say that she has become a fierce pirate, whiles others say that she rules the deepest depths of the sea serving Edall as his right hand...but I do not know what happened to her.
We were adopted by a nice family who kept us in a comfortable lifestyle. We were never hungry, or cold. There was always love and laughter around their table. We lived in an apartment that was actually pretty nice...it just happened to be in a really run down part of town. The outside wasn't much to look at, but that was part of the fun. Whenever I had a friend over to play, they were so surprised by the inside compared to the outside! I had lots of friends and look back with fond memories of happiness and fun. One time we all got together and had a race to see who was the fastest. We forgot to set any rules so some swam and some ran. We all ended up tripping and tumbling all around the sea floor, laughing the whole time. One time when right after Masikan left, I was sad and lonely, so I went for a walk. I wasn't really watching where I was going and walked right through a patch of kelp that hid a little hollow under the edge of a rock cliff. My curiosity got the better of me and I kept going. In that hollow was a man, or it looked like one at first. He was all rusty though. It took me a second to realize that it was actually a suit of armor with the bones of a man inside that I was seeing. Strangely, I was not afraid. There was a peace there, a kind of divine presence that seemed to guard the man. I did my best to rub the rust of the breastplate so I could see the writing on it. I did not know what language it was written in, but the words "For Light, Life and Love" were suddenly in my mind. I felt a burning in my heart and I just knew that this man had died fighting for those words and in that moment I knew that I wanted to do the exact same thing. I did not share that experience with anyone, I felt it too personal, too sacred to ever speak of again. From that point on I searched book I could find to figure out who this man was, or at least what he was. I finally discovered a book that told of those that take sacred oaths to protect and fight for all that is right is world, making sure that the never ending darkness didn't take over the light. A Paladin. I did everything I could to make sure that I lived my life within the guidelines of that sacred oath,
Kindle the Light, Shelter the
Light, Preserve Your Own Light, Be the Light.
No one was surprised when I turned 18 and announced that this was the path I was choosing to follow. They all said that it was the natural path of my unwavering faith, but I knew, I knew that it was from that moment so long ago, the sacred resting spot of a green knight, and the feelings that I had there that lead me to this path. Young and inexperienced, I headed out into the world to defend the light. I joined a small rag tag group of people who felt the same as me and we did our best to keep the darkness at bay. We got into a fight one day, it may actually have been a battle...there were a lot more people involved than what we had been led to believe there would be. This was the first big fight I had ever been in. I was terrified! There was so much that I didn't know in that moment that I kind of lost it. I don't know all that happened that day, which is probably good because some of my friends did not fair well with the memories. I had some minor wounds, mostly shallow scratches and nicks. I somehow had a black eye by the end of it too. I was just kinda sitting on a stump surveying the battle field after it was all over, when I hear footsteps approaching from behind me. Terrified that it wasn't actually over, I swung my mace wildly. I nailed a tall, handsome man with the kindest face, square in the chest. I hit him harder than I thought I had, but in my defense, I thought he was trying to kill me. He launched back 3 feet and slammed into the ground. He was bringing me bandages. Bandages. I kinda freaked out when I saw that he wasn't wielding a weapon and just had the medical supplies. He was just coming to help me. I rushed to his side, embarrassed and flustered, hesitant to offer any help because I just did this to him. He started laughing. It surprised me so much that I just joined in. He apologized for not announcing himself. He said he had seen me in the battle and thought I was pretty and a good fighter...a lethal combination, literally. I tried to help him up, but he gasped in pain and curled up into a ball, as much as his armor would allow that is. I freaked out again and uh..borrowed...a cart to take him to my sister. I tested her potion first, just to make sure that it wasn't going to kill him, it healed me just fine, so I gave the rest to him. He sat right up and looked kinda freaked out that there was no damage at all, like even the other wounds he got in the battle were healed, even his armor was restored to near perfectness, it was probably too much potion, but I panicked. . His name was Durcron. He was a hunter and so handsome...let me tell you, I did not mind looking at him at all! He asked me if i wanted to go on an adventure with him. Obviously I did. We left the next day and just traveled where ever our hearts desired. I married that man. Probably not officially in anyone's book, but to us it was as good as a blood oath. He knew Goblin for some crazy reason that he kept explaining to me, but I never understood, and taught it to me so we could have a "secret language just the two of us" could understand. One day, 12 years after we got married, he went out hunting. I waited and waited for him to come back, but he never did. To this day I do not know what happened to him. Every city I go to, I ask for him. Every village in the forests and plain and mountains gets the same question, "has anyone seen my Durcron?" I will never stop looking for him, ever.
I met another man about 7 years later, so different from the first, that at first I hated him. He wasn't unattractive, but definitely not my Durcron handsome. Try as I might to resist him, he finally made me laugh one day. His triumphant little smile told me this had been his goal the whole time. His name was Sharos. He was so gentle with me, never trying to take Durcons place in my heart, but just asking for a little corner of it. I was so happy, I had been given a second chance at love! We settled down in a quiet little haven, content to work and protect these people. We even started a family together. I was about a month away from having the baby when
