Buwan
Geography
The terrain is mostly rugged and mountainous with 66% forest. The population is clustered in urban areas on the southern coasts, plains and valleys. Buwan is located in the northwestern hemisphere of Unorrea multiple tectonic plates.
The climate in Buwan ranges from a frigid taiga biome in the north to a humid almost rain forest biome along the southern coastline.
About 73% of the continent is mountainous, with a large mountain range running through the heart of the continent and several smaller ranges spread off from the main range. The continent's largest mountain is Mount Jifu which holds a religious significance to the continent's population.
Since there is little level ground, many hills and mountainsides at lower elevations around towns and cities are often cultivated. As Buwan is situated in a volcanic zone along the The Saukasi Ocean, frequent low-intensity earth tremors and occasional volcanic activity are felt throughout the continent. Destructive earthquakes occur several times a century. Hot springs are numerous and have been exploited by the leisure industry.
