Vakava

The ancient temple complex to Sigothruh has now fallen into ruins over the ages. Most of the complex is now hidden underground, Though the magic still affects the surrounding desert.

The muddeled dessert

Surrounding the ruins is an area of desert covered in tracks, all these tracks lead to one of several Oasis' throughout the area before leading out of the area. Cloud cover seems to always be overhead as travelers follow the path, but starts to dissipate as they move toward the ruins.

Temple to death

All things are laid bare in death, no lies can penetrate its veil and no secret can be kept, Fore your life has been recorded

If travelers manage to pass the way stones, they find themselves compelled to not only speak but speak only the truth, this is where Zeldrur appears as a sphinx. If they somehow still manage to pass, they start to approach the remains of the above-ground temple. Ruined walls rise out of the sand with no discernable pattern, broken gargoyles litter the area. In the center stands a still-working brass fountain in the shape of a winged sphinx. Behind the fountain is a large door that leads down to the crypts.

Crypts

As you go down the stairs you arrive at a ceremony room where the funerals took place, this included an altar, casket stand, and rows of seats. Off to one side is a preparation room where bodies were prepared and the other side housed the high priest's office, though this has since caved in. A lift system behind the Casket stand lowers the casket below while stairs behind the altar go down.
A massive labyrinth of tunnels stretches out in all directions splitting off into burial rooms. These vary from large grave rooms with several crypts, Family tombs with a single family in, and single tombs with the full burial rites of the person interred within.

Rumors

Rumors of noises being heard from the crypts from those who made it to the temple are rampant and several even claim strange shadows at night.
Another rumor talks about how the temple's treasure still resides in a building buried under the sand.

current situation

Many shadowy figures have been seen moving about the desert, making it even harder to get close. It's not sure if this is a group forging a settlement in the area or just some nomads.
