Guenhyvar Revar (Gwu-en-hey-var Re-var)

The hidden settlement of the Shadow Elves, Guenhyvar Revar is said to be a legend, like the elves who inhabit it, to scare children into being good. Though it is a legend that several groups, including The Draconic Library, shifters, and other elves swear to be true. Of all the elvan colonies this was the most hidden.

The legend

The legend varies from telling to telling but holds the core components. That in ancient times a group of elves far to the north was on the brink of death. Running out of options the elders prayed to Revarthin and made a deal of survival in exchange for being his servants. Guenhyvar is now a gateway to death where these elves come from to stalk the night.

Known truth

In the far reaches of Frostmourn a camp of Shadow elves exists that moves around with the game herds. These elves can be hired to help deal with situations. The tribe is said to be a similar size to larger Shifter tribes, though this info comes from shifters who 'have stumbled across them'
