Ideals
Gender Ideals
Shifters have two different genders the first is male and female which has little to no meaning in their life other than their role in reproducing. The second is whether the spirit they connect to is a predator or prey animal.
Preditors tend to go on hunts, trade, and do the jobs outside of camp while 'prey' do the inside of camp jobs like smithing, and caring for animals, and the young.
Courtship Ideals
The male will present the desired female with gifts at the winter moon. She then either accepts or refuses the proposal. Though a Male may only present one female such gift each year.
Relationship Ideals
Marriage is for honor and duty to the clan, love is for the battlefield.
Everything you thought had meaning, your hopes and dreams are meaningless as you lay dying on battlefield, we all die-A speech that every shifter 'preditor' hears from childhood, Suposadly Saberfang's last speech.
But does that mean our lives are meaningless, would you say that of our fallen brethren, our ancestors? What bout their lives?
They were not, They serve as an example to us all, The courageous and anguished fallen
Their lives have meaning because we the living refuse to forget them, and we trust our descendants to do the same for us
Because my breathern do not buckle or yield in the face of cruelty and oppression, my brethren scream out, my brethren RAGE
