Faith and divinty in Undina

With such a mix of beings from various planes, Undinia has become a melting pot of Gods and Goddesses. These used to be separated into pantheons but splinted and combined into divine classifications causing many gods/goddesses to overlap in their domains. While one person can pray to gods from any origin, they often have a single patron deity that they hold above the others. The articles on this page are by no means even a drop in the pond of beings prayed to, they are however some of the more notable.   These beings seem to rarely get involved with the world itself, and even their priests state it's more a matter of faith that they're there. While this is the Norm for those classified as Gods and Goddesses, a lot of the spirits, fey, fiends, and other such powerful creatures are found to influence things on occasion.

Primal Spirits

The natural spirits of Undinia. While they are primarily held in reverence by the Shifter clans, a few other people also hold them in high regard.

Forgotten/rediscovered Gods

These are the Gods and Devine beings that predate the Ancient Era.

Old Gods

These are the divine beings of the Draconians, Phervian, though some Tieflings and other old beings follow these gods. It should be noted several gods of other cultures are also put into this category.
A note on Patrons
While many powerful beings, such as the Demon lords or Zumil, grant powers to followers in a similar way clerics do from their faith, these beings are not divine beings but just incredibly powerful, granting power through a deal rather than raw faith.

Elvan and Mountain gods

These are the gods of the Elves, Dwarfs and Giants from when they first arrived in Undinia, Though it is not clear where they originally come from.

Rebel Gods

So-called due to their worship by the slave revolts. The big four in this category, along with The Dread tiger, formed the patron gods of the states that grew out of the revolts.

New Cults

These are the religions that seemed to have sprung up after the divine age. Most are short-lived and barely affect the world as a whole.
