Axe of Judgement
The ancient headman's axe of Sapphire Gate, and the great axe of Darr during the Crisis of the Fey age, the Axe of Judgement is a part of the Angelic Relics of the fey age, though it became lost after Darr's death.
A large double headed great axe with bone in the pattern of a giant skeletal face connecting the two blades. The axe is sentient, whispering the innocence or guilt of those around it, even rumoured to scream Sardia's guilt during the Battle of Sardia. It will try to dissuade attacking innocent citizens and even, if the myth is to be believed, shatter if forced to strike someone truly innocent.
History
Legend tells how the axe originally belonged to a headsmen of Sapphire's gate early in the Draconic Era, taking the heads of the most heinous criminals. This would be the axe used to behead the accused noble in the Lilsea, The mother of spiders myth were it shattered, and later wielded to capture Lilsea herself. It would apparently rest in Girliorth's horde till the Fey Age. During the Crisis of the Fey Age Darr managed to impress Girliorth, leading to the later taking the remains of the axe to Pailron to reforge it. Presenting it to Darr during in Frostmourn during the battle against the undead, the shifter would wield it in battle from then on, even killing the Champion of Sardia with it. The axe would disappear in the Shifter wastes with Darr, though a few adventures have tried to find it.In game mechanics
