General Physical Condition

Varis is a shorter man with a thin, dextrous frame, long, slightly wavy dark hair, and an elegant face with high cheekbones and a fair, unblemished complexion. He wears dark clothes meant for mobility and versatility, commonly with a hood to hide himself if need be.

Varis is quite short in stature, only measuring 5'6" and having a slight, smaller frame to match. He is thin and somewhat wiry, but fit with extremely fast reflexes. His fair skin is not very flawed as a high elf, however he has some battlescars in various places.

Facial Features

His face is elegant and symmetrical, with bright brown eyes that contrast with his long, black hair. He has high cheekbones and a sharp, but slim jawline.

History

Varis revealed himself to a small meeting hall of potential allies, including Jarxan and his ally Mercutio on November 28th, 1498. Mercutio was immediately somewhat aggravated by him, not exactly on good terms or thinking highly of him due to some of his more innocent-endangering views and Varis' history with the rest of The Heavenly Seven being strained at best and traitorous at most. This tension lead to Mercutio cornering him in his tent one night and pinning him to the wall of the place to threaten him, stating his distrust and that he should watch himself around Cake, his probable biological daughter, because he's a stranger and could possibly take advantage of her naïveté. After an exhausting expedition to the archives of Blassout Burgendy Senior in the mountain range Montagne Nain, the more distrust and aggravation-based tension eventually started to subside as the two had a bit of a heart-to-heart regarding several things, primarily the situation with the weapons of the Heavenly Seven and the involvement of Abaddon with Lucius' original weapon in particular. At this point they are on better terms, however Mercutio still keeps an eye on him when it comes to Cake due to her placing Varis on a pedestal simply due to potential blood lineage, which he does not see as a reason for such a high standing and overall finds naive and somewhat frustrating. There is still a lingering tension, but the manner of it is more blurred, as it is not so much distrust or spite at this point, but a complicated tangle of feelings and opinions that haven't settled and a definite physical interest coming from Mercutio who, frankly, finds him very attractive to put it simply.
