United Nation of Areya
Young Representative Nation
Areya is a moderately large country south of Kyori, east of Psellus, and north of Weyland. It has a relatively temperate climate that ranges from dry wasteland in the west, to grasslands in the center, snow-topped mountains in the north, to foggy redwood forests in the east. The country is relatively young, and recently has had a radical shift in it's government, as it's monarchy fled during various battles in 1505, and was eventually replaced by a new representative government. Overall Areya is a diverse and up and coming civilization with many scenic venues, cultures, and unique trades to offer.

History
Areya was formed from the ashes of war between the tribes of the land now called Areya and the Lich King, Sieg of Psellus. The Lich King himself named the land after his daughter and gave it to her as a show of love for her though his reign was cruel. To combat the lich king, the god, Lumos, sent down the Divinity to his devoted follower, Ramiel, and his trusted siblings. The power was to be split amongst him and his family but as Ramiel tried to absorb all the power himself, he gained divine power while the Divinity split into several pieces that were claimed by other denizens. When the Lich King, Sieg, suddenly disappeared from the land, the tribes of Areya were left to finish off his splintered legions and ended up fighting one another after misguided attacks and confusion on the battlefield. One of the people imbued with a portion of the Divinity's power, Aurgelmir Bestla, became the nation's first king through a tremendous show of force, forcibly uniting the tribes under the name of the Lich King's daughter and his bloodline, though split, is still evident in the governing power of Areya today (c.1506), in Lieutenant Commander Legault Mureiy of Therrani. Areya's last proper king was King Seere Bestla, who fled the nation when conflicts threatening his and his family's lives came up in 1505.
