Garden Church

This place use to be a church that was built by the humans way back when. It's now a ruin and we use it as a community garden.
Standing on a hill overlooking the nearby slums is a rotting building that use to be a church. The wooden structure is missing pieces of its walls and all of its once great stain glass windows are broken. Parts of the church's roof are broken letting the sunshine down onto the broken floorboards.   Because of the holy nature of the building Ala Sebla uses the church to grow some plants that are used in healing. The plants grow out of the floorboards and reach for the sun above. Ala goes to tend to these plants at least once a day. Even though the building is considered condemned.

Purpose / Function

The Garden Church has a few different purposes. Although the church has not been used as a site for worship in a long time the people of the nearby slums sometimes walk by to the church to pray. The people who do this are normally older and their prayers are centered around peace and healing.   The second purpose that the church has is as a garden. The church has some of the best soil under its floorboards and is the perfect place to grow and tend to healing herbs. The main person who uses the garden is Ala Sebla, but there are a few other people who use the garden. Some of whom are the elderly that go to the church to pray.

Entries

There are two ways to leave the building one is the front door and the second is through the attic onto the nearby rooftops. There are windows but they are too thin and high to be used as an entrance. There is also a hole in the roof that was treated when Raga fell through the roof from the schtrücker above.

Sensory & Appearance

The church smells nice with a patch of flowers near the pulpit and medicinal herbs that grow beneath the church up into it through the broken floorboards.

Contents & Furnishings

There are pews that create a nice even aisle with an alter at the end of the aisle and a pulpit behind it.

Architecture

The church is a small gothic style church with buildings around its size patched around it with room enough for alleyways and a larger path.

History

The church was built by some of the first humans who moved to Miyla. It was used as a house of worship for many years. When it officially stopped working as a place of worship is up to debate. It is now being used as a community garden.
