Communi (Com-UNE-ee)
Some elves, even in this age of industrialization, can't give up on what they used to have. Together, these elves either purchased or occupied a large plot of land outside of a Human settlement, often one that has natural value such as orchards or truffles. Here they live in simple tents, trying to be as self sufficient as possible but trading natural goods for what they can't make themselves. These Communi may support as few as twenty elves or over three hudred depending on the size, and while never being a part of a city or town they still form part of its economy. They are often distrustful of other ancestries, and vice versa, but the ill-will almost never turns violent except in the most extreme cases.
