Half-Orc

Often shunned by other species for their obvious physical similarity to Orcs , Half-Orcs tend to stick to keep a low profile in the majority of the major population centres in Ulskandar, and on the continent of Turoza especially. Having said that, Half-Orcs are a common and obvious sight in the Sultanate of Fashaddon, where they form a key component of society, with the Sultan himself being a Half-Orc.

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Half-Orcs are widely spread across Ulskandar, and they can be found in civilised society, or as part of an Orc tribe. In Turoza, Half-Orcs tend to be found on the edges of society, mostly due to the natural distrust other sapient species treat them with. A Half-Orcs natural strength means that they can often find painful employment in most places, and they are particularly sort after as bodyguards and soldiers. This is not the case, however, in the Sultanate of Fashaddon, where they are deeply embedded in the establishment.
