Young Dragon

Work In Progress!

This article is still under construction. The information found here may be out of date, contain errors or various inconsistencies.
Dragons are very powerful creatures. Though like most others they are far more vulnerable when they are younger.   Dragons do not age in the same way as humans do. They in many ways experience 2 adulthood. A dragon referred to as young is most often in the first of these. The second being when they undergo a second puberty becoming the terrifying creatures of legend. Unfortunately, most dragons do not make it to this greater maturity. Mainly due to their urge to adventure and strike out to find a home of their own.   Dragons are not humanoid cratures and as such are not able to manipulate objects in the same way. Becasue of this they cannot make use of most tools and weapons. Though thier powerfull claws and breath attacks more than make up for this on most occasions. Howerver thier proment role in society has led to the creation of specialist tools, weapons, cloths and even armor for them to make use of. But these are in most cases hallariously expensive, both due to the difficulty craft them and the assumsion of wealth that follows any dragon.   A special causion should be taken when playing a dragon. The position comes with a level of fear and respect that can easily tur into hatred if you start throwing your weight around without having the authority to back it up. Even then it is still a good idea to eceraise a degree of caution as nothing unites a people more than a shared enemy.

Types of Young Dragons

In the world of Ullthwaygon dragons are much more physically diverse than they are in the standard-setting. For this reason, it may be a drastically different experience playing one type of dragon than another. Some dragosn however, such as those that are basically animals are largely unsuited to use as a player character.

Chromatics

Chromatic dragons are the most common and have the most human way of thinking of any of the dragons. They have no set alignment (even that system is not used in this setting anyway). And have a broad a spectrum of motive as any of the other races. Chromatic Dragons in the setting of Ullthwaygon are descents of royalty and nobility that was slowly sifted by the process of the god Akitha. Though this may be very different in other settings.

Most attacks that would simply bounce of another dragon can cause a white dragon considerable damage.
