Cover Art by Eugene Kibkalo everything else by Zone55X.

This an Advanced Statsheet!

This Statblock is not intended for use with base D&D.
This sheet is an Advanced Statsheet and intended to be used with the Advanced Rule System being developed on this site. It may still be in need of balance and may be subject to heavy change in the future. If you are looking for a version more suitable for the base version of 5e then you can find it below.

Playing a Bhook

Playing a Bhook drastically affects the way your character players compared to most other races. However, this complexity can present a number of unique opportunities when mastered that can open up doors you may not have realised where even there.

Wisdom Save: DC 15 + Wis/Int/Cha to Avoid.

As a standard action, you may attempt to absorb a significantly weekend creature into your pages. If successful you all of their remaining moral and hitpoints.   This ability does not technically kill the target and they may be re-released by a high-level use of dispel magic or other such abilities. Alternatively, you may actually release the creature in question at some point in the future at the cost of half of your hitpoints.   Each day a creature is within your pages lose 1 point off their maximum HP. If this reaches zero they are consumed and unable to be returned and their spirit passes on. You may instead choose to feed this creature, costing you the Creaturs Tier in hitpoints from your book form each day. Feeding a creature keeps it alive indefinitely and does not cause it to lose any hitpoints instead healing it for one of its maximum hit points each day it is feed.
    Tier 6

    Book of Monsters

    Full Round Action
You may summon monsters out of your pages. You may summon either a single solo monster of a Tier 4 levels or lower below yours; or two group monsters of the same tie. You may add an additional two group monsters for each tier below the maximum you can summon.
    Examples
If you are Tier 6, you may summon either one Tier 2 Solo monster, 4 Tier 2 Group Monsters, or Six Tier 3 Group monsters.   As this ability has the potential to drastically slow down play it is highly advised that make yourself awarer of the sats and abilities of the creatures you intend to summon before the game starts. Asking your DM to do this for you may put you in danger!
    Or

    Liebray

Warning! Taking this feature removes your ablity to use your humanoid avatar.

    Ascend beyond your pages!
Your original Book From becomes a metaphysical being allowing you to take hold of any book within your vicinity. As a bonus action, you may possess any book your spectral form comes into contact with, healing you fully. When a book you are in is destroyed your spirit is ejected. Alternatively, you may do manually using a bonus action.   Each time you leave a book you lose one maximum hp from your book form. If this reaches zero your character is destroyed entirely and leaves no remains. Hitpoints lost this way heal at a rate of one per day.   While in your spectral form you gain 100ft. of spectral flight. While in this form you may take no action other than movement or taking or possession a book. You may still be captured in your spectral form and may be in danger from certain creatures, spell or abilities. Your spectral form shares your book forms stats and hp.   Taking this ability prevents you from using your humanoid avatar.   This feature massively increases the amount of damage you can take, giving a Bhook with 30 max hp and effective maximum hitpoints of 465! It also makes most executions against you much less effective. However, you may still be in danger in your spectral form.
