Drow

The Drow of Tyranaal have a somewhat different beginning than those from other points in the multiverse. They originated from the full blood elves of Tellanor. After the creation of a Phylactery in the city, the magic that emanated from the artifact began to transform and mutate the elves of the capitol city. Shortly after, a massive attack of undead assaulted the city. With no choice left for the city, they used a relic from the previous generations and transported the Elven capitol city of Tellanor into the Astral Sea. While it saved the lives of everyone in the city, it further spread and accelerated the transformation of the elves in the city into Drow.
Not long after the transportation of Tellanor to the Astral Sea, they discovered the artifact that they used was drained of its power. Now, stranded in the Astral Sea, the Drow travel the magical seas and the islands that reside there in search of a way to re-power the artifact that brought them there originally. As time goes on, they see their transformation not as an affliction but only as part of their cost to escape an undead invasion and massacre with their lives. The Drow are determined to return their capitol city to the material plane back to their homeland, where it belongs. For as long as they live, their capitol city and the history that it belongs to, is just as much a part of them, as they are to it.
However, there was a faction of citizens led by separatists that rose up against King Tychon's forces after the stranding of the Capitol. These separatists, took a handful of ships and magical items from Tellanor's Reliquary early on and fled into the Astral Sea. They have not been seen or heard from since. Where they are in the universe is anyone's guess.
