Arma Lucis Adventuring Guild

Founding Members: Rehati, Nennoh, Illiana Theabrook, Ein Ianson, Aedren Brightwood, Ness, Rayne Daardendrian and Gallen.   Over the years, the adventures of Arma Lucis started in a small bar in a town along the border. They started as a group of strangers that rose to the occasion and saved the soul survivor of town in need of help. Later they found themselves defeating a Necromancer, then a Mindflayer with a god complex and then a Vampire Lord who was out for revenge. Along the way to becoming the group they are today, they unfortunately lost the lives of Rehati, Therdon and their ally Darius Elleryn.   Along the way to saving the world from the Dark Seer, they collected magical artifacts and powers from across the world and universe. River's Wind, The Book of Righteous Deeds, Arlain's War Raiments and Averonne's Grace. Together they helped raise each other up to the next step so that they could match the powers of the Vile Tome, wielded by the Dark Seer.   Their journeying years came to a climax when they defeated the Dark Seer who was seeking to drain the divinity from a fallen god's aspect. With the help of their allies and concentrated efforts of their members, they were able to bring the battle to a close. Atop a volcanic island in the eastern sea, they finally brought their last chapter in saving the world to a close.   At the end of Arma Lucis adventures. Their original keep in Tarynhall, which Ein, the Dragonbane, was lord over, was converted into an adventuring guild. Here Ein would recruit and groom the incoming generations of adventurers. Along with the help of Lesnora, one of Arma Lucis' officers, this guild would grow over the years and kindle a family of both young and old adventurers. This guild is one of the standing testaments to Arma Lucis' legacy and their footprint in history for years to come.

Structure

The Adventure ranking system is as follows:   Rank 1: Bronze This Rank often helps with local transportation jobs or helping farmers with goblins and the like. To achieve this rank, new members must apply and go through an interview process with an on sight guild master.       Rank 2: Iron This rank is achieved by those who have proved themselves capable by finishing 3 quests or jobs successfully without doing damage to innocent people or their belongings. Iron rank allows adventurers to start taking quests to slay invasive pests. Such as local wolves and other local threats like goblins chiefs.       Rank 3: Black Iron Black Iron rank is for those who have finished two jobs or quests and show the ability to handle well under pressure. This rank can be achieved by people who protect those that can't protect themselves and by returning stolen goods to those that are in need. This rank deals with bandits, bugbears, hobgoblins and large animals (such as bears, owlbears and winter wolves).   Rank 4: Silver After dealing with one to three difficult Black Iron quests, depending on job reviews, adventurers can now take jobs that will take them out of country and give them the opportunity to make a name for themselves in other places in the country. Silver Rank can often lead adventurers dealing with low level hags, hobgoblins, cultists and other forms of new evil threats.     Rank 5: Truesilver This rank allows for some jobs to pay adventurers half up front, other half upon completion. This when jobs start to pay more and the clients for these jobs are often lords and other higher ranked officials of Illendor or Elleryn. These jobs can be assisting a lord in guarding land, taking care of invading adult dragons or possibly dealing with barbarian clans.     Rank 6: Gold Gold Rank is when quests and jobs become much more dangerous and influential in the development of story or character progression. This rank will often make or break some characters and can often lead to death for parties that are not careful. This rank will often deal with secret organizations, small armies, otherworldly threats and larges groups of monsters.     Rank 7: Platinum Platinum Rank is a rare achievement for any adventurer under the Arma Lucis Banner. These adventurers are not often heard from and will often make short appearances before disappearing again. These ranks are often dealing with long term quests that can span years or on other worlds and planes.     Rank 8: Diamond These adventurer ranks are for those that have proven themselves to be the best of the best. Heroes that are great under pressure, masters of combat and skillful in diplomacy. These are the heroes that Arma Lucis set out to help shape to make the next generation of heroes. These adventurers will have stories of their accomplishments spoken of in the guild halls and will have left their footprint on history.   Ranks are established so that quests and jobs are only available to people of that level of experience. Difficulty for these jobs is set by Lesnora and Ein. Often times, it is possible that someone in a group will be given a leadership position. When a job is completed, adventurers return to be debriefed and have their performance rated. If reviews go well, recommendations and promotions to other ranks are offered.
