Krenzin

Krenzin is a dark blue/purple ore that is found in certain parts of Mitvort and is used as fuel for much of the heating, forging and most other burning utilities. It burns about one and one half times hotter and twice as long as the best wood¹ currently known.

Krenzin has often been attributed to some aspect of Vayren or Dornam which embedded itself in Mitvort during either the creation of the plane or the splitting of the planes.

The Ampere Mining Company claims to have invented a new process for Krenzin which renders it pitch-black and enables both a less expensive process and longer burn times.

1:These tests were conducted on a furnace which was fully washed and dried between each test, and at an aperture of 50%, as it was determined that Krenzin was too dangerous to be used in full air. The best wood found so far was oak felled in Aitilafa and kiln-dried, which burns around 200 degrees for 2 hours.
