Human

Humans are a midsize species of mortal on the plane of Mitvort and make up the majority of the inhabitants of the continent of Vequist and much of the population of Oniroth despite having a relatively short lifespan. Humans have primarily separated themselves from each other and other species by the societies they build around themselves, in some places tending towards magic and others tending towards the physical or the erudite. Humans were the founders of the nations of Herske and Azendale, and had a significant role in the foundation of Walzbin.

Humans and Dwarves enjoy some brotherhood in the cultural desire to mould the world to a more desirable state rather than adapt themselves, and are often seen as somewhat hardheaded by other mortals. The human settlements in Walzbin and Aitilafa are notable exceptions to the trend, much more content to live with the world around them as-is.
