Agaim, God of the Seas
As Safa crafted the lands and mountains, Agaim observed that they possessed rigidity and hardness. While life required stability and structure, Agaim recognized that true prosperity could only be achieved with the supple nourishment of flexibility. Thus, Agaim sought to enrich the world with oceans and seas, where all creatures would find themselves both malleable and forceful. With a grand gesture, Agaim commanded the oceans and seas to spring forth, flowing through crevasses to create rivers, streams, great waterfalls, and tranquil ponds. The waters took on myriad forms, from tumultuous white rapids and crashing waves to the serene teal and azure hues of the seas, and the mysterious inky blackness of the depths below. Much like the steadfastness of the earth embodied Safa, so too did the ever-changing nature of water embody Agaim, shifting from mirror-like tranquility to tumultuous waves the size of mountains, as if determined to draw all that resided on the surface down to the depths below.
Uarin, the god of life, sought to populate the world's surface with living beings. In their first act, Uarin filled the seas with life—creatures both flexible to survive their realm's master and resolute in their persistence. As a diverse array of beings filled the oceans and depths, Agaim regarded them as a gift and allowed the waters to shape these wondrous creatures.
Once again, Safa raised new lands from the oceans, striking yet another balance. To bring water upon the land yet maintain its sovereignty from the oceans, another deity, Athailia, emerged. Athailia became the god of storms, born in the chaos of the seas and oceans, finding their way to the land upon which rain would fall, nourishing all that grew upon its surface. As the rains cascaded from the heavens, Athailia's storms manifested as both gentle showers that nurtured life and powerful tempests that tested the resilience of all that stood before them. Each raindrop bore the mark of Athailia's blessing, bestowing life's sustenance upon the earth.
