The Thinker

Shamarin was born on an overpopulated planet, plagued by chaos and war. She was fortunate enough to be born into a family with plenty of resources for her to devote her life to study. Together with her partner Ezekiel, a brilliant navigator and hobbyist cartographer, she learned of the planet Tunoda. Once they came into contact with the First Alliance, Shamarin joined them on their quest to free Tunoda from the Great Old Ones. Ezekiel prepared the course and Shamarin voyaged on the first skystone to what is currently kwown as Clearwen.   Once Tunoda was freed and ready for repopulation, Shamarin invited anyone from her people who was interested in starting again. She founded the colleges in Clearwen as Ezekiel set off on a mission to take care of a loose end. Tired of the struggles in her homeland, one of the founding principles of the colleges became that students and staff are treated equally despite their race and age. The first structure that was build was an open lecture theatre, currently known as The Wyvern Racing Theatre.   Shamarin was a lover of puzzles and her office was home to the universe’s most complicated puzzle boxes. It is said that she designed many puzzles to guard rare items or knowledge, ensuring that only the worthy would gain acces. Could one of the puzzle boxes that still remains in her office contain her key from the first skystone?   It was only after her disappearance, when the First Alliance began to develop, that she was nicknamed “The Thinker”.
