Maxim is Tempted by Sitri

As he crosses the grey plains of Sheol with Haures and Kashirin, Maxim comes across a solitary tree in the otherwise barren landscape.  Haures informs him that the tree is a hallmark of Sitri, a powerful demon of Lust.  The two decide to skirt the tree and avoid a confrontation, but every path seems to lead them back to it.  Eventually they resign themselves to approaching it.   Sitri is as scantily-clad as one would expect from a demoness of Lust, and offers to annul Maxim's contract with Wrath if he will accept freedom of the body and dally with her.  With a single touch, she causes his armor to fall to the ground, but Maxim is unmoved by her advances.  He rebuffs her offer, and merely presses onward, much to his companions' approval.  Though no doubt powerful in her own right, Sitri appears wary of Haures, and so does not press the issue further.  She vanishes in a veil of black smoke, and her tree is soon lost on the horizon as they proceed deeper into hell.
