Summary
A famed warrior of Baharna and its Chieftan's bodyguard. Sonisay earned her title, used by Baharnans in a manner similar to surnames, by being the only fighter in the port city capable enough to defeat a Wamp in combat. Even so, she is only able to face one of the creatures at a time and must, by her own account, slay it quickly before she bleeds out in response to its corruptive presence. As such, she does not hunt Wamps often, but only when the Baharnan market is in need of fresh Ghost Leather to stimulate its trading options. Sonisay's ruthless mastery of combat has earned her a place by the side of Veasna the Elder, whom she protects vigilantly when not on a hunt. Although her position affords her a fair deal of Baharna's abundant wealth, Sonisay prefers a simple life. She's normally quiet and serious, but is also known to appreciate a good joke when it's delivered well, and is widely respected by other residents of the port city. Indeed, Sonisay's words often carry the same weight as the Elder's themselves. She is sometimes rumored to use this power too freely for her own ends, but her otherwise sterling reputation leaves little doubt of her loyalty to Baharna.
