Summary
Daijō-Daijin during the time of Empress Genmei and one of her most favored retainers. Prince Hozumi was given an immortal body like his Empress. Unlike Genmei, he chose a more non-traditional option. He now lives his days as an enormous white snake, large enough for her to ride around on. Hozumi seems to be enjoying the change and his vacation from the stresses of humanity. He is fiercely loyal and protective of Genmei, but otherwise quite relaxed and languid in his demeanor. Being a snake eliminated the possibility of continuing most of his human hobbies, but he does enjoy sunning himself on rocks when the opportunity presents itself, and terrorizing the burrowing animals in Wakigami Castle's grounds.
