Malisa

Malisa is the captain of a barge, running the daily route from central Sturmin up to the Valdeck crossing bridge north of the city. She is indiscriminate in her cargo, but is often moving lumber from Valdeck and getting it delivered to furniture makers within the city.
She is a well known and well respected member of the Verborgen, happy to undertake most minor smuggling tasks so long as it does not interrupt her core business. She has no issue whatsoever with bribing or threatening her business rivals, and so her relationship with other captains is frosty at best.
After befriending Jarek, becoming aware of the influece of the Wihesmart within the Verborgen, and ending up involved with the killing of Atchana, she took her boat further north to Karnath, looking to lay low from any Verborgen recriminations until the furore has died down.

Malisa officially works for Rachanee within the Verborgen, but she is more than willing to throw her superior under the bus if she feels it can gain her an advantage.
She may or may not have a thing for Jarek Farvald.
