Ser Yorl Warwick
Ser Yorl Warwick is a knight of The Steppes and a vassal of House Moss. He was born to a small-time blacksmith father and fishmonger mother, both lived just on the outskirts of Adrimor's Reach.
Yorl spent a fair amount of his adolescence in the shadows of the extended highborn Mosses and other nobility, observing them train in sword and bow, taking advantage of sparring sessions when the lordlings needed something to beat on. This went on for some years before his father was ordered to move closer to the southern section of the Twins to help arm the troops there and start construction of border towers to better guard the main crossing point.
During a midnight raid against the makeshift settlement, the commander of the guard took a fatal blow by a marauder, who Yorl in turn took from behind with a stone to the back of the skull. Against all odds Yorl managed to rally the settlement and rout the marauders, holding them back until the reserves were able to retake the field. For his actions, Yorl was knighted and permanently pulled his family out of meager living. His first act was to complete the construction of what would become the Towers of Yorl, aptly named after himself.
That was more than six decades ago... just passing his eighth decade. Yorl since then has done little in terms of glory on the field, relying on the tax money and stipends his bridge and towers provide him and his family. Yorl was never a man of excess extravagance, it is one of his few, if not his only, redeeming quality.

If old Yorl has any vices its his women as he earned the unofficial moniker of "Old Elephant Seal". A serial widower, he's been through dozens of wives, simply by outliving them. Then there are his many other affairs, extramarital or otherwise. He'll jump on practically anything that draws breath in his presence. His line of trueborn and bastard children fill his halls from floor to ceiling.
