The Lapizan Navy
The Lapizan Navy is a well trained navy. They recruit whoever wants to sign up, and there aren’t many limitations. It was just recently however that they allowed women to sign up, and that was debated for many years. The queen decided that if women wanted to defend their nation, they should be given the choice. The navy uniform consists of a dark blue cloak with matching knee-high boots. There’s a dark blue leather tunic they need to wear for protection, and they wear blue pants tucked into their boots. They have been around as long as the royal family has, and have been protecting the nation for decades. They are very proud of what they do, and they are well respected amongst their people. The other nations do not like them, because they fear that the kingdom of Lapiza will use them to invade their land. Though they’re called the navy, they only use boats half the time. They are stationed along the coast, and only i]use the boats when they need to. They are called a ‘navy’ because they only used boats way back when they were formed. They are a well respected and well received group amongst the kingdom, and many of them get to meet the king and queen personally. There are countless stations set up along the coastline and many stations on land as well. Training takes about a year, and they learn stealth tactics and sword skills. They use broadswords and get to keep them when they retire. The job is either for life or until they retire. There haven’t been as many deaths now that the kingdoms are more peaceful than they used to be. Many retire with a cool looking sword and a nice new flag from the nation.
