220 / 12 / 14 - 3 New Councillors Elected

Elections are complete in the three new districts of Chirin with three new councillors added to the existing eight. The new councillors are:

• Nyls of Westerfield (Northern Fields). Formerly a resident of North Gate, Councillor Westerfield inherited a factorage from his father and has grown the business through the acquisition of various farms and a mill. Now a resident of Westerfield, Councillor Westerfield received 90% of the votes in his region. Though new to the council, Councillor Westerfield's familiarity with Chirin and it's more influential residents should mean his district has a strong voice.
• Regan of Lurfield (Eastern settlements). A well known figure in the east Councillor Lurfield ran The Last Stop, a fortified inn around which the hamlet of Lurfield grew. With his election to the council with 62% of the vote, Councillor Lurfield has passed the management of the inn over to his son Rolin. A long time advocate for the expansion of Chirin, it is expected that he will use his new position to push for increased patrols by the Lancers and Outer Guard.
• Daisy Proudfoot (Brollier). Councillor Proudfoot secured victory by a mere 10 votes in a very close election. A resident of Windy fields, Councillor Proudfoot was a vocal opponent of the plan to widen Chirin's influence, but since losing that fight she has turned her attention to ensuring she can secure the best possible situation for her region.

The councillors are due to meet to elect the new three person high council on Firday 22nd Ling.
