Masters of Ceremony, Quartermasters, and Veterans
There are three roles which Players can take on in order to help keep the server running actively and expand its storytelling. Each of the roles, Master of Ceremonies, Quartermaster, and Veteran gain access and permissions to manage a text channel under their purview and run small text adventures of their own design and whimsy within the setting.
Events and celebrations are the lifeblood of a community. Every guild needs someone who keeps an eye on the calendar and organize seasonal events around Arbori. They may take the front of the stage and present, or they might orchestrate things and remain entirely behind the scenes. Whatever their tack, they keep the traditions of the guild alive.
Nothing big happens without stocking up on the needed supplies first. The guild has its own trade relations and a steady supply of most things an adventurer needs on the regular.
In a guild like this, there is a risk of turnover. Some new people are coming to fill the ranks regularly and look to someone who knows their way around a bit for guidance from time to time. The Veteran has seen some action and knows a bit about the world. They see problems that need fixing, but that don't require a war party to accomplish. They direct the eagerness of new recruits and community members into help and direct aid to the places that guild reaches.
On Posting Threads
The weekly changeover of events, downtimes, and shop stock occurs Saturday night at midnight, going into Sunday. This is an ideal time to post new threads and give all Players a ping. But you don't need to wait until then to post if you'd rather get it out of the way earlier. Please make sure its something as easy for you to keep to as possible.Master of Ceremonies
