Windbreak Timbers

Deep inside, and nestled high up in the canopy of the Emerald Fenestrae, lies a village shrouded in leaves, and mystery. By nature and location, its denizens are generally reclusive and keep to themselves, and almost exclusively consist of Aarakocra and Tabaxi. While avian and feline cohabitants may seem unlikely, but both races are united by their reclusiveness, and are able to rise above their baser animalistic urges for the sake of safety and survival. Little is known about the the settlement, as outsiders who are able to climb or soar to the necessary heights to enter, are often driven away or denied entry by flying sentries. Violence is rarely required, as most persons stumble upon it by happenstance, are respectful of the request for privacy, or realize their distinct disadvantage against aerial combatants. It is rare that an anthropological view of their society is afforded, usually by means of spying or secondhand reports from outcasts or lone wanders, usually incapable of being objective and impartial.

Windbreak Timbers, Post Fall: None or extremely little is known from within the city limits, but what has been seen, is an increase in the number of flying Aarakocra and the time which they are able to stay airborne, and a collection of objects has been seen floating high above the dense canopy.
