Academia Arcana

The world renowned university, consisting of eight colleges of magic, founded an initially led by The Eight Pillars in the city of Erudition. The eight founders and their schools of study are:

• Leomund – Enchantment
• Maximilian – Evocation
• Rary – Divination
• Otiluke – Abjuration
• Tenser –Transmutation
• Nystul – Illusion
• Drawmij – Conjuration
• Kelemvor – Necromancy

Gaining entrance and acceptance to the academy is very selective, usually only accepting the most talented of candidates. Most applicants are only accepted either by recommendation or financial contribution, or combination of the two. There are countless disgruntled persons and stories lamenting about their formal and informal rejections.
