History of the Fomorian Empire
The Fomorian Empire was founded by Elatha and The Thirteen Great Clans after the end of the First Interstellar War. Ruled by the Balorian Orcs, the Fomorian Empire is comprised of many Fomorian peoples, including Orcs, Goblins, Ogres, Giants, and Trolls of many worlds.

Curse of the Den Mother
Religious eventAfter the Day of Scythes, Cethlenn, the Den Mother Herself denies heirs to the Fomorian Empire for its blasphemy until restitution is made and the balance restored. Most Clan Lords scoff. Some try to assert their conjugal rights aggressively. Those who do either vanish, or meet with horrible accidents. As birth rates plummet, the Fomorian Government progresses from dismissal, to concern, to panic. Show SpoilerThe Sisterhood distributes contraceptive herbs to every Clan Lady, and as many Orc women as possible, then conspire to spread the story of Cethlenn's wrath to topple the social order.Location

Political eventHigh Chief Garlghak Baneblood orders the round-up of as many known rabblerousers of the Winter Women's Riots as possible in a massive military raid, including Gurgh Icefell, composer of Katya. Over 300 Fomorians, almost all women, are publically executed by scythe by the priesthood of Cichol, the Deathbringer. The Iron Champion refuses to participate.

Keltar Bloodfist Assumes the High Chieftainship
Political eventGarlghak Baneblood is forced to accept a challenge from Keltar Bloodfist, who defeats him and assumes the High Chieftainship. The new High Chief offers to make amends on the Empire's behalf to the Sisterhood of the Den Mother and the Goddess. The birth rate once again rises.

The Tyrannian Invasion
Military actionIn fall of 3807, the Tyrannian Invasion of Caer-Thun begins with a Blitzkrieg-like mass assault on Tornn, Inhydea, and Saharah, subjugating all three nations in a little more than 2 months. Over the next 6 years, 80% of Caer-Thun would be subjugated to the Tyrannian fascism under the dragon Kalisus.

First Interstellar War is Declared
Military actionThe Fomorian Alliance known as The Solstice Pact attacks Evergleam during the celebration of Rumaraera. Total casualties number nearly a million in civilian and military injuries and lives. The Avalonian Imperial Navy, acting on behalf of the Avalonian Empire, declares war on the Fomorians of Known Space. Evergleam is destroyed, and the survivors flee as refugees into the stars. Most settle elsewhere within the Telasian System.

Diplomatic action1st First-Month, Year 350 from the Founding
On the first day of the Fomorian year, the Spring Equinox, the Fomorian Empire officially declare war on the Avalonian Empire, in retaliation for their actions in the First Interstellar War (IW1) (or "The Great War" as the elves called it up to this point.) Their initial attacks are in outlying systems that are intended to shore up their rear, and a blitzkreig of smaller Avalonian systems follows. Scene 16:1 in A Few Good Elves

Battle of Wylinta's Rings
Military action12th Sixth-Month, Year 350 from the Founding
The first shots in the Telasian System of the Second Interstellar War (IW2) are fired when a single man-o-war, the Queen's Dirk, scouts the rings of Wylinta and discovers a flotilla of ten Fomorian men-o-war. Due to some exceptional flying on the part of hotshot young Star-Pilot Lieutenant Shaundar Sunfall and the command of Captain Yvoleth Oleander, the flotilla is defeated, with three burnt, three sunk, three fled, and one taken as prize. Several members of the crew receive medals for this action, including the Pilot and young marine Yathar Goldenbough, and the Queen's Dirk receives a personal commendation from the Monarchs of Glimmerfell. Casualties in the action include Tyelatae Vesper, whose leg is amputated, and Yathar Goldenbough, who receives minor injuries. The Queen's Dirk
