Wuelfenfang
It was a harsh winter and the silence from the east, across the Weser was ominous to us all. When finally a trader from the Langobarden arrived, we were all relieved to see our stocks be replenished. But once that trader showed his face on our Warft and we saw what he had hung around his neck, we chased that Wuelfenslayer away without hesitation and with every club and axe we had!
The fang from a geniuine Wuelfe is much more durable, longer and sharper than even those of the vicious Isegrimm. Other than the deep black fangs of the evil Hatir, the Wuelfenfang is pure white at the point with a pale red base.
A Wuelfenfang does not break, so the only way to acquire one is to cut or break it out of the jaw of a Wuelfen - alive or dead. Either way, this way of acquiring the Fangs led to the Chauken deeply despising anybody who would openly flaunt even a single one of these fangs around their neck - since they regarded the Wuelfen as their brethren.
Along the Langobarden, Ampsivaren and even the more moderate Friesen however, the aggression or hostility towards the changed humans is way mor prevalent. A Wuelfenfang has become a trophy of strength among their warriors and even the Isanmannen Empire has recognized the ferocity of mean clubs lined with these fangs.
