Runenwerk

Any type of item that has been inscribed with Tövereen Runes by a Runesmith using Runemagic. Using the correct runes, these items can have wonderous effects on their wearer or other targets.
Ancient runenwerke use many runes that are completely unknown and illegible to current runesmiths. They often carry effects that are immensly powerful and awe inspiring.
Runenwerke can be very fragile and easily destroyed - as the effect is bound within the actual runes on the object itself. Some runesmith have found a few runes that protect the writing itself apparently, but at the cost of increased complexity to the spell.
