Vass

Vass is a greatsword, adorned with symbols of Amaunator and belonged to a paladin order dedicated to the God of Law. It was primarily used for executions and for the ceremonies held when new members were sworn into the order. The sword prevents the wielder from lying outright, but they can still refuse to speak of something or be selective about what they say (after all, Amaunator is the god of Law, not the god of Justice), but also grants the wielder advantage on insight checks to detect a lie. The sword was wielded when Paladins stood vigil, and while standing watch (remaining mostly inactive, but alert), the wielder can forego sleeping, provided they see the sun rise from the position they stood vigil at.
The sword deals an additional 1d4 damage against creatures that have sunlight sensitivity.
