Double Edge

Double-Edge is a strange longsword. A cunning smith will realize the weapon bears the marks of having been made by dwarves, but was not made for a dwarven user. It is believed that the sword was made by Duergar, for an elven (possibly a drow) user, specifically to fight Illithid.
Damage Rating: 1d8+1 (one-handed)
Traits: Versatile: 1d10+1 (two-handed)
Enchantment: +1, +1d4 Damage versus psionic casters and any creatures from the Far Realms or the Astral Sea.
Magical Effect: When you kill an enemy with this sword, the sword absorbs part of their mind and plants it within you, which causes psychic damage equal to the victim's intelligence modifier (minimum 1 - damage is always non-lethal), but the sword protects you from having your own mind affected and gives you resistance to psychic damage and advantage on saving throws made against psionic effects as well as charm effects or any other mental effects that would alter the state of mind of the user, or influence their actions.
