The Establishment
Built in 638ADR by an wealthy Merchant for his family and himself, they lived in it for five Generations. But they had to give it up when the family became bankrupt. After this the House became deserted for same decades. When Minato became more and more the district of Nightlife, the Building was bought by a mystious figure who turned it into the White Sakura, a house which provides leisure to those who need relief and entertainment to those to who need distraction. It became known for its services and employees providing those. There were naturally movements against establishments like this, but those lost in time in power and now not only the White Sakura is there but a whole red light district in Minato.
Today the White Sakura is run by Keiko Tsukino, a Merchant daughter and a capable Manager. She is connected to the Golden Vault, but not only she is the whole White Sakura is front for the Vault. The Establishment provides various services from refreshing baths in the spa with or without companions, simple companionship for the evening with or without intimacy, companionship for events outside the White Sakura wether it is an offical Gala or a business meeting or a privat Party again with or without intimacy. It is besides that the normal part of being a Nightclub with drinks and music.
The Courtesan
Riko
Riko is a Tayū, which means she is the highest class of courtesan in Otawara and Shou-Lung. She has clients in the highest ranks of politics and commerce. She decides when and how she will meet them and who will become a client of her. She is not only very beautiful but also intelligent and knows how to interact in any circumstances of social interactions. When not with a client, she is very caring and empathic towards the other woman and man, like a big sister.
Michiko
Michiko is the newest member and therefor just a Sancha, which means she is a novice. Despite that, she is in the White Sakura and because of this the clients still needs her ok to engage with her. Even though she is young she already had a more then sufficient education in socialinteraction, also in music, poetry, even a certain understanding of economics and politics. She is the baby of the group.
Silk
Silk is a Kōshi, the second highest class of courtesan, which means that she also has a word in wether she accepts or refuses a client. She is in the White Sakura as long as Riko, who is her best friend. Not only because she is a Tabaxi but also on her way she moves and behaves, she always have this elegance and exotic to her. When with the other she is one who cheers the others up or cracks a joke.
Suskee
Suskee is like Slik a Kōshi, but she is longer here than Silk or Riko. Because of her Heritage she has very unusual standing with the clients, but she has her regulars and some important figures who especially ask for her. For her it was a hard time to adapt to the lifestyle of a courtesan, but she mastered it gracefully. She is mostly more on the wildside, the loud one in the group.
Shidia
Shidia is the last of the female courtesan and the third Kōshi. As a Drow she has a natural aluring beauty, but she has the intelligence and wit to back it up. Also as a sideeffect of being a Drow she is the longest working member of the White Sakura. Maybe because of that she has almost exclusively clients from the political arena. She is like most drow outside of the Underdark the more silent type, but she cares a lot for the people of the Sakura, which she considers family.
Aidan
Aidan is a Kōshi, like the other male courtesan simply because there are no male Tayū. But he can also choose which client he will accept or not. He came as a boy to Shou-Lung but lost his family in an Earthquake. After a few month on the street he stumpled in the White Sakura and never left, the rest is history so to speak. He is charming and he knows it, but he doesn't dwell on it, and keeps reading Books in his free time. He likes to hang out with the others, when he doesn't need to pretend to care because someone is paying for it.
Farlar
Farlar is still a mystery to most of the Sakura. He came some years ago and offered his services, he charms every client despite age, race, gender, it doesn't matter to him and after a few moment also to the client. He is most of the time for himself, but not alone, he keeps himself around the others just not with them.
Shiu
Shiu is like Michiko new to the White Sakura. Keiko brought him one day and gave him a choice to stay or go back living on the street. He took the chance and is trying since then to pay back everything, he thinks, he owes her and the White Sakura. He is polite and empathic with a certain charm and the looks of a boy. He really enjoys the time he can spent with the other when they have downtime, but you can see that there is something behind his smile, still some scars that needs healing.
Other Employees
Natala
Natala is a former courtesan of the White Sakura, but she stopped so she could pursue a career as a Singer, succesfully. She now is the Musical highlight of the White Sakura and another reason for many people to visit it. Nowadays she is not only singing in the White Sakura but also in theaters and other esteemed Establishments all over Otawara. She has a beautiful Voice and mesmerizing presence when on the stage.
