Three Brewers Building / Landmark in Toriel | World Anvil

Three Brewers

Three Brewers is an inn on Holypertuis periphery, as it is next to the northern outer wall, it is on the rather poor section of the city.
The locals often come to gather around the tables and exchange the latest rumors, drink, and chat, one can learn everything about the trouble of the third estate and peasant here.
The inn is cheap looking, the dark wooden floor squeak with each step, the tables are close to each other, leaving no room for privacy. A table in the center usually hold a little game of card, the coins pilled on the opponent side letting adventurer now they can bet or try to play for a fee.
In the back is a large counter, anchored directly into the stone wall, the counter shows the scar of multiple battles, various holes dotting it, with makeshift repair making sure no drink can slip through. A dark caudlron bubbling over the fire behind the counter, as the smell of today's special is filling the room
Large wooden beam old the roof, and a small stair right to the entrance lead up, where a total of 5 rooms are dispatched. The rooms are small, each including a bed, a chest, and a water basin to wash your face. the candlelight shining under the door, letting one easily guess which room is used or isn't.
Gothak Kalagiano run and manage this inn alone since the criminal that used to blackmail him are gone. It is a tedious task, but the Goliath loves it.

History

The inn was known to be a place of gathering for the Magpies, Gothak was forced to work with them, and the inn was closer to a brothel.
Thankfuly, thanks to the intervention of an adventurer from the Adventurers guild in 1130 AD, the criminal were driven away, and the legend of the adventurer's feat were enough to make sure they wouldn't there to come back. Gothak was able to convert the inn back into an actual inn, glad to be proud of his work again.
