Demonlord of Mutation

The Demon Queen of Parasite, Lady of mutation, fungi, rot and decay, Tal Iss is an alien creature whose only desire is to infect the living with spores and parasite, transforming them into her mindless servants and, eventually, into decomposing hosts for the mushrooms, molds, and other parasite that she spawns.

Physical features

Utterly inhuman, Tal Iss can mutate and change her body at will, not like a shapeshifting which magically transform her shape, but like an horrible and horrific transformation that mold her form into an approximation of a humanoid shape, including two giant ram horn, flying siren wings, and aboleth-like tentacles.

Tal Iss' cultist often follow her unwillingly. Most are infected with the Demon Queen's parasite eating at their brain, or eggs growing inside them. Those infected worshippers can be mind-controlled by the Demonlord, and such cultist are fungal extensions of the demonlord's will. Their devotion might begin with the promises of growing power thanks to mutation, but quickly consumes them, body and soul.

Lair

Sharing a layer of the Abyss with Juiblex, plus their mutual insatiable hunger, has made the two demon lords mortal enemies, each devoted to destroying and ultimately devouring the other.

History

At the end of the Draco-Giant War in 1 AD, The giants were banned, and their grip on power weakened. Thanks to this, the veil that clouded the minds of Ogre was weakened, and some rare individual's potential was finally revealed. In search of unlocking the full potential of their minds, small clans of awakened ogres came together to explore new paths. It was during this quest for mental prowess that Tal Iss approached them. She proposed a pact: in exchange for shielding their minds from attacks and curses and rendering their bodies resistant to harm, the ogres would become the paragons of mutation on Toriel, undergoing rapid transformations based on their environment and diet within a matter of days or weeks. The ogres, recognizing the potential benefits, accepted the offer, leading them to turn into what is now called trolls with the powerful mutation abilities they possess today.
