Stag-Horned Flagon

The Stag-Horned Flagon is a cozy and comfortable inn in Greatback. The Stag-Horned Flagon, was recently rebuilt with substantial stone foundation, thick walls, secret passages, and private chambers separated from nearby rooms by sealed-off passages. Innkeeper Joris of Greatback keeps careful watch over who comes and goes from his inn; it’s where merchants meet to broker deals in commerce illicit in Holypertuis, such as smuggled goods, poisons, and certain magic.

Description

The inn is a large U-shaped building, and behind the building, a wooden stable offers a place for the customers' mount and chariot. A large fire lights the place at night, as well as candles, are placed on the tables and bar, and a large carpet covers the wooden floor, dampening the sound of footsteps. The inn is cozy, but quiet, and is known to be a peaceful place, so much so that many merchants come here to have private conversations as the building is magically warded against scrying.   A set of large and comfy chairs are lined before the fire for people to seat and talk, and the tables are scattered, more than enough to leave plenty of room to each customer. A large bar to the left is slightly elevated, gibing the innkeeper a good view of every customer. Things are generally calm in the inn, but just in case, a crossbow is hidden under the bar, and Joris tend to carry a dagger.
