Simic Hybrid

Simic hyrid are strange hybrid, part monstruosity part human they are among the rarest sight in Toriel. A wonder of science and magic, many scholar would love to explore their strange morphology, and just as many swordsmen wish to fight off the strange monster-like humanoid.

Simic hybrid are the result of strange experimentation by Emilis Emka, a halfling scientist working on artifical resurection without the use of spell.

Physical features

Simic hybrid are rather horrific-looking, Eimlis Trying to improve humanoid ability during her experimentation, giving them twisted body. Their pale blue skin is almost semi-transparent, and some kind various deformation can grow as they age.

Aging

Age. Simic hybrid are born from dead human baby, the crude process brings them to life, but they age at an accelerated rate, especially in their childhood. They can grow from a baby to an adult in a few years. This process slows once they reach adulthood, but not by much, and a simic hybrid cannot expect to live more than 15 years.

History

Simic hybrid are artificial creation, so far only two have be known to exist, but no one know how many of Emilis failed experimentation turned out to be alive. The halfling scientist collecting babies dead during birth, and experimented to use the power of element to bring them back to life. Electricity is able to stimulate the muscle of even a corpse, so maybe he could reanimate a dead heart and dead brain.

It is with this idea that Emilis started experimenting, the crazy scientist soon realizing halfling heart couldn't resist the shock, started to implement animal body part in the dead newborn. At first switching the hearts or larger and stronger one that could resist the electric shock, soon th scientist decided it would be a shame to stop here, adding other animal part to evolve the baby.

It is only in 1133 AD that Emilis managed her first successful experimentation, or at least that she now off. Using the power of science, the halfling managed to bring the dead back to life. Unbeknown to her, some of her previous 'failed experience' survived, and were living as adventurers.
