Nalia is a
Shifter and a pirate part of the
Longstraw Pirates. She is famous for her charismatic smile and social skill, using her cunning to get out of most situations unharmed.
History
Shifters are uncommon, and their link to lycanthrope often make them the target of ne'er do well templar, knights, and paladin hoping for renown. Those escaping the blades of wannabe heroes are met with insults and glare from commoners, forcing them to hide their nature.
Nalia had to deal with those behaviors early on, her and her friend
Eloise Longears were two orphan walking the streets of
Nicodranas. Stamped as cursed beasts and outcasts from the get-go, the two girls turned to criminality, the only place people like them wouldn't be disregarded, yet they hoped for freedom, for a simple life.
The two girls made an oath to each other, that to set sail and find a place where they would be free, where they would be queen. A wish that was only partially afforded as they managed to become part of the Longstraw Pirates, boarding on
The Dryad.
